
Position Definition

Discussions to define the position responsibilities and duties, required experience and attributes, and other factors desired by the client. Also, information is gathered about the client firm, its history, activities, future and personnel to utilize in "selling" potential candidates on the opportunity.
Research

Research of individuals and comparable organizations in the industry is done to identify potentially qualified candidates. Referral sources are also compiled for contact.
Recruitment

Since the best candidates are usually not actively seeking new positions, cold calling and direct recruiting methods are used to contact them and promote the benefits of considering the position to be filled.
Analysis

Candidates are interviewed thoroughly to determine their suitability and interest, and references are checked to confirm their credentials.
Recommendation
-
The best qualified (usually, three or four) candidates are presented to the client for interview. Detailed resumes and references of selected candidates are prepared and submitted to the client for review.
Interview Coordination

Assistance is provided to the client in scheduling/coordinating interviews, candidate follow-up, and debriefing.
Candidate Selection & Offer
-
Provide any and all additional information to be utilized in selecting the candidate of choice. Identify issues or concerns necessary to address before acceptance and close the candidate on a mutually acceptable compensation package.
Follow-up
-
Monitor progress and maintain communication with client and candidate to ensure a smooth transition.
