Position Available:  DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES – Sacramento, CA (#6147)

Director of Facilities will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and all capital projects for a growing apartment portfolio that currently consists of 8,000 units in multiple states.

Company Info: Our client is a national affordable housing developer, owner and manager. They are experiencing exponential growth on the West Coast.  The company culture is extremely family oriented.  They are a tight knit group looking for someone who is seeking a “home” just not another job.

Key Requirements:

  • Must have strong team building skills
  • Must have experience developing maintenance training programs
  • Construction/capital improvement experience is required (capital needs assessment experience)
  • Basic MS skills (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Must have 7+ years of experience in multifamily maintenance
  • Must have managed the maintenance of at least 1,500 units in multiple states
  • Experience with vendor and contract negotiations required
  • Budgeting and fiscal responsibility skills
